Why does Shimmering only put out inflos near the end of the growing season and go dormant before flowering?

In San Diego, CA. It goes dormant before the info gets buds and then they dry up and fall off in the spring. So I never get flowers on it. The rest of my plumeria growing right beside it flower just fine.

Some cultivars are just late bloomers. We have found they as they mature and your plumeria will become more acclimated to your area and as it has more tip it's blooming season will expand.
