Any good draining soil. Many use cactus soil.
If you have the ability - and help - to report a plant that large, it should help it. Fresh soil will bring more nutrients.
We do not recommend high phosphorous fertilizers. It could be why your plant is doing well. Too much phosphorous builds up in the soil and can inhibit the plant from absorbing nutrients.
We suggest the fertilizer Excalibur with a balanced formula: https://www.floridacolorsplumeria.com...
Follow application directions, then cover it with a good mulch or more soil.
Hope that helps
