Plumeria are tropical flowering trees and need to be protected from frost and freezes. Frost can damage tender tips, leaves and flowers. Freezing can kill plumeria. You should always check for frost below 40 degrees F. If your plumeria are exposed to the weather in the Fall or early Spring check your weather forecast often.
